FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State grabbed a double-digit lead in the Compulsory event and never looked back in a 263.270-171.335 victory over Adrian College on Sunday afternoon to improve to 2-0 on the season.
After jumping out to a 16-point lead in the opening event, Fairmont State continued to add to their lead throughout the afternoon by winning each event, including a 27.35-22.50 advantage in acro, 28.20-23.65 in pyramid, 26.95-19.70 in toss, 49.600-33.175 in tumbling and 93.32-50.46 in the team routine. The Falcons won all but one heat (Pyramid, Heat 1) and swept the events in the meet. The Falcons recorded a high score of 9.90 in a pair of events.

Lauren Williams, Uccello and
Jackie Baker.
The Falcons will travel to Alderson Broaddus on March 3 for a dual meet against the Battlers.
