FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State head women's tennis coach
Kayla Kurczak has announced that four student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to join her roster for the 2016-17 season.

Hayley Hatfield, Alexandra Lahaie, Kate Lauerman and Natalie Vasquez are the four members of Kurczak's 2016 recruiting class.

Hayley Hatfield, 5-8, Logan, W.Va. (Logan High School)
Hatfield, a four-year letterwinner on the tennis team at Logan High School, was a three-time state championship qualifier and team captain for the Wildcats. Hatfield totaled more than 100 career victories and was also a member of the Logan cross country team.

Hayley's brother Zachary Hatfield is currently a member of the Fairmont State men's tennis team. Hatfield was the senior class secretary and a member of National Honors Society at LHS. She plans to major in Business while attending Fairmont State.

Alexandra Lahaie, 5-7, Madison, N.J. (Madison High School)
Lahaie, was a two-year standout on the Madison High School tennis team in Madison, N.J. where she served as a team captain and played at No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles.

Lahaie plans to major in Marketing while attending Fairmont State.

Kate Lauerman, 5-9, South Charleston, W.Va. (South Charleston High School)
Lauerman, a two-sport standout at South Charleston High School was a four-year letterwinner for the tennis team, playing as the No. 1 singles player and a member of the No. 2 doubles team for the Black Eagles. She also helped lead the SCHS volleyball team to the state tournament in 2014 and earned MSAC honorable mention in 2015 as a senior.

Lauerman graduated with honors from South Charleston High and will major in Exercise Science while attending Fairmont State.

Natalia Vasquez, 5-9, Galena Park, Texas (Galena Park High School)
Vasquez, a standout on tennis team at Galena Park, earned first team All-District honors and was a member of the All-District Academic team after totaling a singles record of 10-2 as a senior. Vasquez led the Yellow Jackets to an 8-4 overall record last season, being named team captain.

Vasquez plans to major in Forensic Science while attending Fairmont State.
