Fenwick Earns Region Honor

FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State sophomore pitcher Ryan Fenwick hauled in another honor for his one-hit performance against No. 6 Seton Hill, this time earning National College Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Week accolades.

Fenwick will now be considered for NCBWA Division II weekly awards.

The Leonardtown, Md., native needed just 66 pitches to get the Falcons past the Griffins on Sunday. The performance helped snap SHU's 19-game winning streak as he took a no-hitter into the sixth inning. For the day, Fenwick faced just three over the minimum, induced two double plays and allowed just one runner to reach third in the game.
