Skidmore Earns WVIAC Honor

PRINCETON, W.Va. -- Fairmont State freshman Amanda Skidmore was named WVIAC Player of the Week for her performance in a pair of wins over Washington Adventist on Sunday.

Skidmore, a Butler, Pa., native, was 4-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored in two games against the Shock. In the the first game, she was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored. She also went 2-for-2 in the nightcap belting a solo home run and an RBI single.

The Falcons will be back in action this weekend with a tournament at Francis Marion.
