GREENSBURG, Pa. -- The Fairmont State women's cross country team placed fifth out of nine teams at the Seton Hill Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons were paced by Laura Horning who took 15th with a time of 21:44. She was followed by Marie Friend (22.06), Laura Coen (23:18), Lacee Fulton (23:29) and Mary Houck (24:29).
On the men's side, FSU fielded four four runners and did not register a team score. The Falcons were led by Scott Treadway's 28th-place finish in a time of 32:50. Lucas Gardner was next (34:41), followed by Austin McFee (34:50) and Logan Moore (39:05).
The cross country teams will be back in action this weekend at the Davis & Elkins invitational.
