BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Fairmont State's Kathryn Saurborn earned All-America honors for the second time in as many days after finishing seventh in the 100 fly at the NCAA Championships on Thursday night at the CrossPlex Complex.
Saurborn finished seventh in the finals after posting a school record time of 55.59. She entered the championships with the 11th-fastest time in the country and shaved nearly a half second from her entry time of 55.95. Mychala Lynch of Grand Canyon won the event with a time of 54.31.
By finishing in the top eight, Saurborn earns All-America honors for the second-straight night. She finished third in the 50 free on Wednesday night at the championships.
Saurborn has one more event at the championships: the 100 freestyle. She, along with teammate David Dent, will compete in that event on Saturday.
