BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winners of this week's Women's Soccer Player of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Sam Yuen is the MEC Offensive Player of the Week. Yuen, a sophomore from Huntingtown, Maryland, had a four-goal outburst this week as the Falcons picked up a pair of wins. Yuen recorded four goals in a conference win against West Liberty, while also adding an assist. Her four goals against West Liberty set a program record for most goals in a single game.
The women's soccer team hosts Frostburg State University on Wednesday, September 17. Start time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
