Feaster Center (Joe Retton Arena, Dan Cava Court)

Home of Men's & Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling & Acrobatics & Tumbling
(Capacity: 2,711)

Completed in 1978, the Feaster Center was named for former President Easton Feaster. This is the official home of Fairmont State Athletics including our basketball arena, competition pool, video room, newly renovated men’s and women’s locker rooms and the athletic training suite. Also, the Athletic Director and coaching staff for most teams have offices here.

Joe Retton Arena was dedicated in 2000 to Joseph “Jo Jo” Retton Jr., FSU basketball coach from 1963-1982.

During the 2018-19 basketball season, the court inside Joe Retton Arena was dedicated for longtime Fairmont State fan and donor Dan Cava. The new school logo and "Dan Cava Court, Shop the World" logos were placed on the court prior to the 2019-20 season.

The summer of 2014 featured a $1.2 million renovation of Joe Retton Arena, including a new gym floor, seating, lighting, sound system and LED scorer's table.

Fairmont State men's basketball hosted the 2017 Atlantic Region Basketball Championship inside Joe Retton Arena from March 11-14, 2017. That season, the Falcons advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship Game in Sioux Falls, S.D.
