FROSTBURG, Md. — The Fairmont State men's swimming team faced Frostburg State in the first conference meet of the season. The Falcons fell to the Bobcats, 137-56.

Vladimir Fedoseev secured first place in both the 50 SC Meter Freestyle and the 100 SC Meter Freestyle events. He posted a leading time of 24.18 in the 50-meter event and completed the 100-meter event in 53.24, contributing a total of 18 points.

George Ferguson claimed victory in the 400 SC Meter Individual Medley, finishing with a time of 4:58.39. He was also a key member of the relay team that finished second in the 400 SC Meter Freestyle Relay, helping the team to a time of 3:42.53.

Andres Masten participated in multiple events, finishing third in the 50 SC Meter Freestyle with a time of 26.33 and fourth in the 100 SC Meter Freestyle at 58.65. He also contributed to the second-place finish in the 400 SC Meter Freestyle Relay.

Josh Seitz competed in the 200 SC Meter Freestyle, where he finished fourth with a time of 2:16.53. He also placed fourth in the 100 SC Meter Butterfly, clocking in at 1:08.21.

Fairmont State returns to the pool on Friday, October 31 at Davis & Elkins College. Start time is set for 6:00 p.m.
