DANIELS, W.Va. — Fairmont State women's golf team secured third place at the 2025 MEC Women's Golf Championship, highlighted by
Marra Johnson's 10th-place finish with a 254 (+38) over three rounds at The Resort at Glade Springs.
Marra Johnson led Fairmont State with a 10th-place finish, shooting a final score of 254 (+38). Her performance improved in the second round with an 82 (+10), following rounds of 87 (+15) and 85 (+13).
Emerson Simons tied for 11th place, posting a final score of 256 (+40). Simons' consistent play was marked by rounds of 84 (+12) in both the first and third rounds, with an 88 (+16) in the second round.
Gianna Koski secured 19th place with a total of 287 (+71). Koski showed improvement each round, starting with a 102 (+30), followed by a 96 (+24), and finishing with an 89 (+17).
Kaily Banal finished in 21st place with a score of 303 (+87).
Lanae Street completed the tournament in 23rd place with a final score of 315 (+99).
