LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The Fairmont State University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NCAA Atlantic Regional hosted by Lock Haven University.
The men's team was led by
Donovan Tanouye, who finished 17th with a time of 31:31.70. Tanouye's finish earned him All-Region honors, the first in the men's cross country program history.
Bailey DeMoss was the next Falcon to cross with a time of 33:30.7 followed by
Tyler Martin who crossed the line in 36:13.4.
Nolan Lamoreaux and Christian SImon were the next placers for Fairmont State with times of 36:53.5 and 36:55.1, respectively. The final two runners,
Taylor Hohman and
Alexander Wigal stopped the clock at 37:12.5 and 38:13.3.
On the women's side,
Megan Mitchell was the first FSU racer to hit the finish line. She hit the line in 22:24.2.
Bella Haught ran the race in 26:06.6 while
Chelsea Sayman posted a time of 28:12.3.
Stella Episcopo was the final runner for the Falcons with a time of 32:22.7.
