WHEELING, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University women's golf started the 2025-26 schedule at the Wheeling University Invitational. The Falcons finished fourth with a two-day total of 721.
Marra Johnson led the way for Fairmont State as she placed third. She carded rounds of 76 and 84 for a total of 160, just three shots off the lead.
Emerson Simons was the next Falcon on the leaderboard with a 36-hole total of 167 (86-81) to finish eighth.
Gianna Koski (197) and
Lanae Street (199) were next for Fairmont State as
Kaily Banal rounded out the top five.
Brasinn Provenzano also competed in the tournament as an individual.
Fairmont State's next tournament will start on Monday, Septemeber 8 at the University of Charleston Invitational.
