FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Cross Country/Track & Field Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators were announced on Tuesday, June 23rd. Fairmont State University cross-country and track team saw a member recognized for their combined performances on the course and in the classroom.
With her amazing performances during the cross-country and track seasons and her hard work in the classroom,
Megan Mitchell was named to the Academic All-District Team for NCAA Division II.
For a student-athlete to be eligible for Academic All-District honors in track & field and cross country, they must be at least a sophomore both academically and in terms of athletic eligibility and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.50 or better. In addition, they must have placed in the top 50 in their region in at least one event.
