CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The Fairmont State men's golf team finished 11th at the UC Invitational with a three-round total of 880 (+40), led by
Mason Lapana's tie for 23rd at 218 (+8).
At Berry Hills CC, the Falcons opened with a 289 (+9), followed with a 294 (+14) in Round 2 and closed with a 297 (+17) in Round 3.
Lapana was the Falcons' top finisher, tying for 23rd at 218 (+8) after rounds of 72, 71 and 75.
Caleb Young and
Ryan Thompson tied for 29th at 220 (+10), while
Eric Feng tied for 36th at 222 (+12).

Fairmont State next tournament will be the Pines Country Club Collegiate Invitational at The Pines Country Club in Morgantown, West Virginia. Play will start on Monday, September 21 and will finish on Tuesday, September 22.
