EARLYSVILLE, Va. -- The Fairmont State women's cross country team finished ninth in the 16-team 6k race with 196 points, led by Megan Mitchell's fourth-place finish in 22:46.4.

The Falcons had an average time of 26:10 and a spread of 6:54.2, with a scoring order of 4-13-44-61-74.

Mitchell led the Falcons in fourth place with a time of 22:46.4, while Mikaela DeMoss followed in 14th at 24:06.7. Clare Woodring placed 45th in 26:13.5, Bentlee Williams finished 67th in 28:02.5 and Abby Del Signore was 81st in 29:40.6 to complete the team scoring.
