Fairmont State University Athletics

RJ Leisie was named the Director of Athletic Communications in January of 2024.

Leisie comes to Fairmont State after serving in the same role at Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C. for two years. Prior to Guilford, he spent two years as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications at Saint Vincent College.

While at Saint Vincent College, Leisie served as the primary contact for all 24 sports at Saint Vincent College. Prior to SVC, Leisie was a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Waynesburg University from 2017-19.

Leisie is a 2017 graduate of Waynesburg University with a degree in Sports Broadcasting/Sports Information and then completed his masters in Business Administration at Waynesburg in 2019.
