INSTITUTE, W.Va. -- Fairmont State swept Charleston in straight sets on Saturday afternoon at the Walker Convocation Center in Institute.
Fairmont State (15-6, 7-1 MEC) was led by
Mackenzie Harrison for the second-straight match with 13 kills and five blocks assists. Harrison had a .571 attacking percentage after recording just one error in the match.
Courtney Kress also reached double-figure kills with 10 to go along with three total blocks.

Jessica Furda recorded a team-best 34 assists and eight digs in the victory. Libero
Megan Clerico chipped in a match-high 22 digs.
Allison Tumey led West Virginia State with nine kills in the match. Mallory Rennard had a team-high 14 assists to guide the State offense and Brooke Cieslewski tallied 21 digs for the Yellow Jackets.
The Falcons ended the game with a .298 attacking percentage compared to just .080 for the Jackets. FSU also had a 7-4 advantage in blocks in the victory.
FSU will now be idle until next Friday when they travel to West Liberty to take on the Hilltoppers at 7 p.m.
