FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- A goal by Notre Dame's Megan O'Connor in the 54
th minute proved to be the difference in a 1-0 loss for the Fairmont State women's soccer team in its 2015 season-finale on Saturday at Duvall-Rosier Field.

Alexis Manoa assisted the goal on a corner kick that O'Connor put into the net on a header. With the win, NDC improves to 13-4-1 overall and 12-3-1 in the Mountain East Conference. NDC will be the second-seed in next week's MEC Tournament.

The Falcons will end their inaugural MEC season with a record of 2-14-2 overall and a 2-12-2 mark in the league. In 14 losses this season, FSU has lost nine of those games by just a single point. The Falcons also forced a pair of scoreless draws.

In Saturday's game, the Falcons were outshot 32-3 in the loss, including a 14-3 margin in shots on goal. NDC also held a 12-2 margin in corner kicks.

Brittany Cameron had two shots on goal for the Falcons and
Courtney Webb added one to provide the only scoring chances for FSU.
Shawna Graham faced 14 shots on goal, making 13 saves.

Graham currently leads the country in saves with 184 and is second in NCAA Division II with a 10.82 saves per game average. Graham is also third in the MEC with an .860 saves percentage.
