FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Concord shot 61 percent from the floor and 57 percent from three to down Fairmont State, 95-82, on Thursday evening at Joe Retton Arena to hand the Falcons their third-consecutive loss.

Fairmont State falls to 17-9 overall and 14-6 in the Mountain East Conference. Concord improves to 17-8 overall and 13-7 in the league and are looking to improve on its 10th-place ranking in this week's regional rankings.

Fairmont State had three players score 20 points in the loss, led by Nick Harney with 23. Thomas Wimbush recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds and Jamel Morris chipped in 20 points and six assists.

Aaron Miller went 11-of-12 from the field and scored 29 points to lead the Mountain Lions in the victory. Jametrius Wade added 16 points and seven rebounds, Mike Boyd recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 assists and B.J. Hamlet added 11 off the bench for the Mountain Lions.

Fairmont State shot nearly 50 percent from the floor and knocked down nine three-pointers in the game but couldn't slow down the CU offense. The Falcons also held a slim 33-31 margin in rebounding.

Concord recorded 21 assists on 35 made baskets and scored 28 points off turnovers. The Mountain Lions also held a 48-40 advantage scoring in the paint and got 26 points from their bench in the win.

FSU will play its final home game of the season on Saturday when the Cavaliers of UVa-Wise come to town for a 4 p.m. tip at Joe Retton Arena.
