Terrell Charles recorded his second-consecutive 100-yard rushing performance, racking up 104 yards on 16 carries in the victory. Charles tallied 101 yards on 15 carries in the opening half.

Fairmont State's defense shutout Concord, limiting the Mountain Lions to just 232 yards of total offense (including 64 on the ground). The Falcons also forced two turnovers, including a 68-yard pick-six by Trevon Shorts that provided the only points of the second half. Zack Hoover also picked-off Concord quarterback Brian Novak in the victory.

As a team, the Falcons broke-up 10 passes in the win, led by two apiece from Emanuel Ivey and Jacob Jean-Charles. Ivey also led the FSU defense with a team-high six tackles in the victory.

In addition to outgaining the Mountain Lions by a 443-232 margin, FSU also dominated time of possession by possessing the ball for over 37 minutes in the victory.

The Falcons were once again heavily pentalized, being called for 18 accepted penalties for 185 yards. CU was flagged just three times for 25 yards.

Novak led the CU offense by completing 21-of-45 passes for 168 yards. Novak also threw a pair of interceptions. Nick Loftin was on the receiving end of five passes for 32 yards for the 'Lions.
