FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State won its five-straight 3-0 decision and pushed its current win-streak to seven games on Saturday afternoon with a dominating 3-0 victory (25-8, 25-14, 25-21) over Concord in Mountain East Conference volleyball action at Joe Retton Arena.

With the win, Fairmont State improves to 16-6 overall, including a 7-2 mark in league play. FSU will now prepare for a vital Atlantic Region matchup with Gannon on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. inside Joe Retton Arena. The opening serve is set for 7 p.m.

Concord dropped to 9-17 overall (3-6 MEC) following the loss.

Fairmont State got a team-high 18 kills and 10 digs from senior
Mackenzie Harrison in the victory. Harrison committed just one error on the afternoon and finished the match with a .486 attacking percentage.
Ciera Greene recorded her first career double-digit kills performance in the victory, chipping in 11 kills to go with nine digs.
Alyssa Kelly also chipped in 10 kills for the FSU attack.

Megan Clerico paced Fairmont State defensively with a match-high 23 digs, and
Alexa Gore guided the FSU attack with 46 assists.

As a team, the Falcons recorded a .423 attacking percentage, and held a 7-3 advantage in blocks and an 8-3 advantage in aces.
