GLENVILLE, W.Va. -- Fairmont State used a 15-4 second half scoring run to rally past Glenville State, 69-64, on Wednesday evening at the Waco Center in Glenville.

With the win, FSU improves to 4-2 on the season, including a 2-1 mark in Mountain East Conference play. GSC falls to 0-6 overall (0-3 MEC).

With Glenville State leading by eight (54-46) at the 9:35 mark of the second half following a pair of jumpers by Darhius Nunn, Fairmont went on a 15-4 run over a five-minute stretch to take the lead at the 5:22 mark following an offensive rebound and putback by
Jason Jolly. Five FSU players scored during the 15-4 run, including five points from Jolly and four from
Vonte Montgomery.

Glenville tied the game one final time at the 3:24 mark before Fairmont State regained the lead for good following a layup by
D'Ondre Stockman with just over two minutes to play.

Fairmont State shot 51.6 percent from the field and outscored the Pioneers by nine (39-30) in the final 20 minutes of play.

Fairmont State got a team-high 15 points from Jolly in the win, including a trio of three-pointers. Stockman (13) and Montgomery (10) also reached double figures for the Falcons in the win.
R.J. Hutcherson (7) and
Caleb Davis (6) led the Falcons on the glass. FSU held a 39-34 rebounding edge in the win.

Nunn dropped in a game-high 25 points to lead the Pioneers. GSC shot just 41 percent from the field and went just 3-of-17 from behind the arc.

The Falcons will return to action on Saturday at 4 p.m. with an MEC matchup with the Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan inside Joe Retton Arena.
