FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State had an efficient evening on the attack to take down Notre Dame College in a 3-0 Mountain East Conference victory on Friday evening at Joe Retton Arena (25-19, 25-20, 26-24).

Senior right-side hitter
Mackenzie Harrison recorded 27 of Fairmont's 54 kills in the victory – to go along with 19 digs, two aces and a block. Harrison recorded just two errors on the evening and had an attacking percentage of .472.

Harrison has turned in two strong performances against Notre Dame this season, as the senior drove home a career-high and school record 38 kills in a five-set win over NDC earlier this season in South Euclid.

Emma Mobley joined Harrison in double-figures with 10 kills to go with 19 digs. Taylor Wisniewski also chipped in six kills and five block assists in the middle for FSU.

Megan Clerico (14),
Sydney McCoy (11) and
Alexa Gore (10) also reached double-digit digs in the match. Gore paced the FSU offense in the first two sets with 40 assists, before
Jessica Furda returned to the lineup and added seven more assists in the third and decisive set.
With her seven assists in the match, Furda moved into fifth place in FSU history with 3,192 assists in her four-year career as the team's setter.
Fairmont State held a 54-35 advantage in kills, and had a .257 attacking percentage as a team in the win.
