PHILIPPI, W.Va. -- Fairmont State extended its winning streak to six matches with a 3-0 sweep of Alderson Broaddus on Tuesday evening.

With the win, Fairmont State improves to 10-12 on the season. ABU falls to 8-16 overall.

Fairmont State used a very efficient offensive attack with 46 kills compared to just 15 errors in the match. The Falcons also held an 8-2 advantage in aces, and held a slim 6-5 advantage in total blocks.

Julia DiPaola led the Fairmont State attack with match-high 12 kills in the victory. Bri Washburn and
Emily Suppel also contributed to the Fairmont State attack with eight and seven kills, respectively.Â
Rebecca Feeney (7 kills, 2 blocks) and
Taylor Wisniewski (4 kills, 4 blocks) also had a strong performance for the Falcons around the net.

Lily Keber guided the Fairmont State attack with 23 assists, and senior libero
Megan Clerico tallied a team-high eight digs.

Alderson Broaddus' Ashlyn McDonald led the Battlers with a team-high 10 kills and 10 digs in the setback.
