GLENVILLE, W.Va. -- Despite outgaining Glenville State 511-260, Fairmont State couldn't recover from seven turnovers and dropped a third-consecutive game, 22-15, on Thursday evening at Morris Stadium during the Mountain East Conference Game of the Week.

With the loss, Fairmont State falls to 1-4 both overall and in MEC play. Glenville State improves to 3-2 overall, including 2-2 in the league.

Glenville State's Dom Cizauskas filled the stat sheet to lead the Pioneer defense on Thursday evening, recording 11 tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery, and two interception returns for a touchdown. Andre Hall turned in a game-high 173 yards on six receptions and also hauled in a 50-yard TD. Javon Hayes was also on the receiving end of six catches for 112 yards and a score. Hayes hauled in a 53-yard touchdowns pass.

Fairmont State had two 100-yard receivers for the first time since 2015 when LaChristopher Lee (163) and Fabian Guerra (109) both had 100-yard receiving days against the University of Charleston (10/17/15).

Senior quarterback Takwan Crews-Naylor completed 16-of-40 pass attempts for 352 yards and two touchdowns in the setback. Crews-Naylor was also intercepted five times in the loss.
