Julia DiPaola drove home 21 kills and tallied 15 digs in a 3-0 win over Urbana University on Friday evening at Joe Retton Arena. The Falcons avenged an early season loss to the Blue Knights with the victory.

Fairmont State improves to 15-14 overall and 8-7 in Mountain East Conference play with the victory. Urbana fell to 16-12 overall and 11-4 in the league.

The Falcons held a 61-45 advantage in total kills, and also held a 4-0 advantage in aces and an 8-7 edge in total blocks during the victory.

In addition to DiPaola big day, the Falcons also got 12 kills and two blocks from
Amelia Moore, seven kills and two blocks from
Rebecca Feeney, and five kills and six total blocks from
Taylor Wisniewski.

Lilianna Keber recorded a double-double with 36 assists and 12 digs, and
Bryce Knapp paced the Falcons defensively with a team-high 17 digs.
Emma Mobley also chipped in 16 digs for the Falcons.

Maggie Burns tallied 14 kills for Urbana, while teammate Hannah Delor chipped in 13 kills.

Fairmont State will wrap up the regular season on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Notre Dame College. Prior to the match, the Falcons will honor four seniors for their hard work and dedication to the volleyball program over the past four seasons.
