FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State shot nearly 60 percent from the floor and all 12 players that saw action scored during the Falcons 123-48 victory over Carlow on Saturday afternoon at Dan Cava Court inside Joe Retton Arena.

With the win, the Falcons improved to 9-2 on the season, including a 5-0 mark in non-conference action. Carlow drops to 0-15 on the season.

Fairmont State held a statistical advantage in all aspects of the game, scoring 64 points in the paint and 28 on the fast-break. The Falcons also knocked down 15 3-pointers and had 21 second-chance points. FSU outrebounded Carlow 58-30 in the win.

Ilisia Washington came off the bench and led the Falcons with 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Washington shot 9-of-12 from the field in the win. The Falcons also got double-double performances from
Steven Solomon and
Dale Bonner in the victory. Solomon finished the afternoon with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Bonner chipped in 10 points and 10 assists in just 16 minutes of action.

Przemyslaw Golek (10) also reached double-figures for the Falcons.

Marcus Millien paced the Celtics with 20 points and seven rebounds in the losing effort, while Jenkins Kimber added 11 points.

Carlow shot just 27 percent from the field in the setback.

Fairmont State will return to action on Wednesday evening when Urbana visits Dan Cava Court inside Joe Retton Arena for a 7:30 p.m. MEC matchup.
