FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State women's soccer team fell to Frostburg State Wednesday night at Duvall-Rosier Field.
Frostburg struck first with two goals in the first 12 minutes of the game. Freshman
Alyssa Weaver would score her first collegiate goal for the Falcons on a penalty kick in the 62nd minute to bring the game 2-1, but the Bobcats added to their lead with a penalty kick of their own in the 68th minute to solidify the final score of 3-1.

Taylor Kennedy registered eight saves on the night.
With the loss, the Falcons fall to a 2-4 record. Their next match is at 7 p.m. Sunday, October 3 at West Virginia Wesleyan.
