SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- The Fairmont State volleyball team was victorious over the Falcons from Notre Dame in a decisive three-set match (25-22, 25-20, 25-19) in South Euclid, Ohio Friday evening.
The Fighting Falcons outperformed their conference opponent in every category, registering more points, kills, aces, blocks, assists and digs than Notre Dame.

Julia DiPaola and
Lilianna Keber each recorded double-doubles to lead the Falcons to the win. DiPaola finished the match with 14 kills, one ace and 16 digs while Keber contributed 35 assists, one ace, three blocks and 11 digs.
The win brings the Falcons to 1-1 MEC after Fairmont State opened up conference play in a 3-0 loss to Wheeling earlier in the week.
The Falcons will continue conference play at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 5 in a home match against the West Liberty Hilltoppers.
