Fairmont, W. Va. – The Falcons hosted Davis & Elkins College on Friday night at Joe Retton Arena, where they won in three sets (25-22, 25-19, 25-21). This moves Fairmont State's record to 19-2 on the season, and 5-1 in the Mountain East Conference.
The offense's success was led by Joey Borelle with 10 kills, where Madison Chapman and Keara Lewis each added 8 more. Kelsie Dangerfield assisted with 19 sets, while Lauren Albrecht helped out with 14 completed sets.
On the defensive side of the court, Bryce Knapp led with 15 digs. Amelia Moore aided her team with 5 assisted blocks.
The Falcons will play West Virginia Wesleyan at home on Saturday, October 8th at 1:00 p.m. for their Breast Cancer Awareness match.
