Fairmont, W. VA., -- Fairmont State Volleyball picks up their 26th win of the year on Mental Awareness Night. They won a 5 set thriller over West Liberty.
The Falcons came out hot winning the first set 25-12. But West Liberty didn't back down winning the next two sets 25-23 and 27-25. Your Fighting Falcons dug deep and had a big response in set 4 winning 25-15 to set up the decisive 5th set.
Both teams gave it their all and battled for every point in the 5th set. There were multiple game points but no one could seal the deal until Madison Chapman came flying in for the game winning spike. It was back an forth battle that saw your Falcons come out on top 20-18 to win the match in front of a great crowd.

Lauren Albrecht with an amazing 35 assists and
Kelsie Dangerfield had over 20 assists with 21.
Bryce Knapp had 23 Digs 2 Aces and 2 Assists. Amelia Moore and Keara Lewis both had 6 blocks and Emma Ludwig had 5.
