WARREN, Ohio – Alex Turowski placed third overall and garnered All-Mountain East Conference Golf Tournament Team honors after shooting five strokes overall in the tournament at Avalon Lakes Golf Course in Warren, Ohio. The Falcons finished fourth overall at the MEC Championship with a score of 925.

Turowski made eight birdies in the tournament and shot a low round of 70 in the second round on Tuesday. He finished the tournament with a 75 in his final round.
Jack Hayes finished just outside the top 10 and placed 11
th with a 232 overall. Hayes shot a 76 in the final round, which was his lowest round of the tournament.
John Logan Taylor matched his second-round score of 77 in the last round and completed the tournament at 239 overall.
Matthew Barrish ended his tournament with an 83 in the last round and totaled 239 in three rounds.
Clark Craig rounded out the scoring for the Falcons.
On the women's side,
Emerson Simons moved up to 14th overall after starting the day in 19th place. Simmons shot her lowest round of the tournament on Wednesday with a 78 and finished with a 249.
Mia Chambers climbed up to a tie in 21st place after finishing the tournament at 264.

Davis & Elkins was victorious on the men's side with a score of 908. Charleston placed second at 913 while West Virginia Wesleyan came in third at 917. On the women's side, Glenville State claimed the MEC title on the women's side with 936. Charleston came in second at 938 while Notre Dame (Ohio) secured third place with 988. GSU's Lexis Fickel defeated Marina Noti in a tiebreaker for medalist honors.
