Borelle and Skinn named AVCA All-American

FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its Division II All-American Teams. Joey Borelle and Josie Skinn were named AVCA All-American Honorable Mention.

Borelle, a native of Norton, Ohio, was named First Team All-Atlantic Region by both the AVCA and the D2CCA. Last month, Borelle was named All-MEC First team as she was one of the leaders for the Falcons in kills (417), kills per set (3.72) and digs (447). Of the 29 matches Borelle played, she recorded double-digit kills and digs in 23 of them.

Skinn, a native of Norwalk, Ohio, was named First Team by the AVCA and Second Team All-Atlantic Region by the D2CCA. This adds to Skinn's accolades as she was named the MEC Libero of the Year and earned Second Team All-MEC. Nationally, she ranks third in total digs (656) and led the MEC in the same category and digs per set (5.38). On the season, she averaged 20.5 digs per match for the Falcons.
