ELKINS, W.Va. — Fairmont State University's women's swimming team showcased their depth and talent against Davis & Elkins on Friday, led by Delaney Householder's impressive performances in the 50 Yard Backstroke and 200 Yard IM, both resulting in first-place finishes. Mia Abruzzino also made significant contributions, securing first in the 1000 Yard Freestyle and 500 Yard Freestyle, helping the Falcons remain competitive throughout the meet.

Delaney Householder secured first place in the 50 Yard Backstroke with a time of 27.86. She also excelled in the 200 Yard IM, finishing first with a time of 2:14.83, and won the 100 Yard Backstroke, clocking in at 59.92.

Olivia Ridenour claimed victory in the 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 33.38. She also topped the 100 Yard Breaststroke event with a time of 1:12.84.

Zoe Hoover finished third in the 50 Yard Butterfly with a time of 28.01. She also placed second in the 100 Yard Freestyle, clocking in at 56.74, after winning the 50 Yard Freestyle in 25.67.

Mia Abruzzino took first place in the 1000 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 11:15.89, and also won the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:31.58.

Rachel Shryock captured first in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:02.72. She also posted a first-place finish in the 100 Yard Freestyle, clocking a time of 56.43.

Fairmont State will next face Salem University on Saturday, November 15 at The Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Start time is set for 12:00 p.m.
