YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Fairmont State's track and field team competed at the 2026 YSU Collegiate Invite, highlighted by Diego Perez securing a seventh-place finish in the men's 5000-meter run with a time of 17:12.28.

Sprints  
Harrison Linkous led the Falcons in the 200 Meter Dash, finishing with a time of 23.74, while Matthew Morrow followed at 23.97. In the 400 Meter Dash, Linkous again led the team with a time of 53.05.

Middle Distance  
Donovan Tanouye placed 27th in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:07.16.

Distance  
In the 1 Mile Run, Tanouye finished 12th with a time of 4:22.78. Perez secured 7th place in the 5000 Meter Run at 17:12.28, closely followed by Christian Simon in 8th with a time of 17:24.25.
