FROSTBURG, Md. — Fairmont State (15-3, 9-2 MEC) defeated Frostburg State (10-8, 6-5 MEC) 101-84 on Saturday at Bobcat Arena. Fairmont State connected on 17 of 26 three-point attempts, fueling their offensive performance. The team also recorded 24 assists, facilitating a balanced attack.
Fairmont State opened the first half with a strong offensive performance, highlighted by
CJ Meredith's early 3-pointer at 17:47, which gave them a slight edge. The team maintained momentum through effective ball movement, tallying 14 assists, notably with
Drey Carter contributing multiple assists to his teammates. The Falcons' defense also played a crucial role, securing 19 total rebounds, which limited the Bobcats' second-chance opportunities.
