FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State University and the women's volleyball team will host the 2026 Mountain East Conference Volleyball Championship. The championship will open on Wednesday, Nov. 11, and run through Friday, Nov. 13.

Fairmont State earned the right to host the MEC Championship by holding the best record against MEC Opponents. The volleyball team also won the MEC North Division Title with a conference record of 14-1.

The championship moves up one day from its originally scheduled dates of Thursday, Nov. 12, through Saturday, Nov. 14 as the adjustment resolves a facility availability conflict at Fairmont State.

The champion earns the MEC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Championship. The NCAA tournament field to be revealed Sunday, Nov. 15 on NCAA.com.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors (65 and up) and youth (12 and under), available online through Championship Central. Every match will be streamed live free of charge on MountainEast.TV (DVR archives require a subscription).
