BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference has announced the winners of this week's MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Player of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Fairmont State's Taryn Laurence has been named the MEC Acrobatics & Tumbling Player of the Week for the second-straight week.

Laurence, a senior from Euless, Texas, a top and tumbler competed in 13 heats and the team event for Fairmont State over the weekend, recording nine scores of 9.50 or higher. She helped the Falcons to the highest toss score this week with a 9.65/9.90.
