Reep Named All-MEC First Team

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced it's women's basketball postseason award winners and all-conference teams. Fairmont State's Gabby Reep was named All-MEC First Team for the 2025-26 season.

Reep, a junior from Bridgeport, West Virginia, finished the season averaging 14.3 points per game while shooting .471 from the field (146-310). She also averaged 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.8 steals per game. Her steals per game ranks second in the conference while being sixth in assists.

This is her first all-conference award of her collegiate career. Reep's best performance of the year so far came against the University of Charleston on February 4 when she scored 27 points with six assists, five rebounds and three steals.

The women's basketball team is the fifth-seed in the Mountain East Conference Tournament and will face Concord University on Thursday, March 5 at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia. Game time is slated for 8:30 p.m.
