FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators were announced. Four members of the Fairmont State University men's basketball team were recognized for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Drey Carter, Rene Diop, David Jolinder and Miguel Martinez represented the Falcons on the Academic All-District Men's Basketball for NCAA Division II. Carter was selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted by CSC members.

An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.
