RICHMOND, Va. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its Scholar All-America Individual and Teams for the Spring 2026 semester. The women's swim team was selected to represent Fairmont State University while
Delaney Householder earned individual honors.
The women's team held a 3.75 GPA to earn them a spot on the All-America list. The Falcons were joined with two other members of the Mountain East Conference: Davis & Elkins and Wheeling University.
By working hard in the pool and in the classroom,
Delaney Householder highlighted Fairmont State by earning CSCAA Second Team Scholar All-American. Householder had an outstanding year by also earning Co-Swimmer of the Year for the Mountain East Conference.
Teams were selected based on their Spring 2026 grade point averages and were required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition. Of the selected teams, an impressive 714 achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a qualified for a diving zone qualification meet for Division II, Division III, and NAIA. Over 2,230 swimmers and divers were named Scholar All-American this 2025-26 season.
