As A Redshirt Freshman (2013): Made four appearances as a reliever for the Falcons ... pitched two innings and faced 10 batters ... scored three runs as a pinch runner and stole a base ... struck out two batters in one inning of work against UPJ (3/16) ... pitched one inning against Charleston (4/17).

As A Freshman (2012): Redshirted the season.

Before Fairmont State: Three-sport star at Greenbrier West ... first team all-conference and all-state baseball player ... batted .480 as a senior ... threw a no-hitter during his sophomore season ... first team all-league basketball player and third team all-state in that sport averaging 18 points and four assists ... set the school record for free throw percentage in a season (87.2) ... helped the team to the regional championship game ... also a standout football player.

Personal: Chase Matthew Fitzwater ... son of Lori Ann and Joey Fitzwater ... father played basketball at Concord ... one of three children.
