After wrapping up his playing career in 2015, Frankie Wilson joined the Fairmont State coaching staff as an assistant coach, in-charge of catching, recruiting and operations for the program in 2016. He will be entering his sixth season on the Fairmont State baseball staff in 2021.
Frankie graduated from FSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (minoring in Marketing).
As a senior for the Falcons in 2015, Wilson played in 19 games and recorded three doubles, a home run and 11 RBI. Wilson started 15 games on the season as a catcher and designated hitter.
Wilson also spent some of his college career playing at Potomac State College, where he received an Associate’s Degree in Physical Education and Health.
In high school, he earned all-state honors in both baseball and football during his career at Fairmont Senior High School.
