Zach Brennan enters his second season on the coaching staff at Fairmont State after joining the staff in Fall of 2025. Brennan was a two-year member of the team.

Brennan began his collegiate career as a freshman at Alderson Broaddus University, where he posted a .261 batting average in 35 at-bats while recording one home run and eight doubles.

He then transferred to Potomac State College to play under Coach Doug Little. During his sophomore campaign, Brennan hit .268 with four home runs while compiling a .403 on-base percentage and a .454 slugging percentage. He also helped lead the program to a district championship appearance.

Brennan continued his collegiate career at Fairmont State University under Coach Matt Yurish. As a junior, he started 42 games in center field and finished the season with a .235 batting average, a .357 on-base percentage, 17 RBIs, and six stolen bases.

In his senior season, Brennan earned Mountain East Conference Honorable Mention All-Conference honors after turning in one of the top seasons of his career. He batted .261 with five home runs, 39 RBIs, nine doubles, 41 runs scored, and seven stolen bases while starting all 56 games in center field. He was also named to the Mountain East Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Brennan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fairmont State University and also holds an Associate’s degree in Sports Management from Potomac State College. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree.

A native of Morgantown, Brennan attended Morgantown High School, where he played baseball under Coach Pat Sherald and football under Coach Sean Biser. He is the son of Lori and Steve Brennan and has three sisters: Alex, Madison, and Riley.
