As A Freshman (2013): Appeared in three games for the Falcons as a reserve running back … carried the ball 11 times for 62 yards against WV State (9/28).

Before Fairmont State: Three-year letterwinner at Clintwood High School in Virginia … set school records with 5,646 rushing yards and 85 touchdowns in his high school career … recorded a school record 2,158 rushing as a senior … also tallied 39 touchdowns during his senior season to help lead his team to a Dominion District Championship … won a Virginia State Championship as a junior … earned Lonesome Pine District and All-Western Section Division I Offensive Player of the Year honors twice.
