Before Fairmont State: Played four seasons as a cornerback at Myrtle Beach High in South Carolina … recorded 150 tackles, 20 pass break-ups and five interceptions in his high school career ... earned All-Region honors twice and helped lead his team to three straight regional championships and a state title in 2010 … also collected all-regional honors three times as a member of the track team.

Personal: Jack D’Vaun Montgomery … born on September 12 … son of Jack Montgomery and Sharon Warner … one of three siblings … sister Shivaun ran track at Limestone College … plans to major in business.
