Before Fairmont State: Spent the 2009 season at West Virginia University … two-time first team all-state selection at Ravenswood … also a two-time first team all-conference pick … Little Kanawha Conference Defensive Player of the Year after recording 133 tackles as a senior … led the team to a 9-3 record and the state playoffs in senior year … also rushed for 1,038  yards and 19 TDs that season … rushed for 939 yards and 17 TDs as a junior … recorded 88 tackles as well that year.
