As A Junior (2008-09): Solid performer off the bench for the Falcons … played in 28 games making two starts… averaged 2.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game … averaged 10 minutes per game … eight points against Ohio-Eastern (1/7/09) … six points and three rebounds at Pitt-Johnstown (1/10/09) …  tallied eight points and three rebounds against Penn State-Greater Allegheny … picked up 11 points, five rebounds and three steals against Pitt-Johnstown (2/21/09) … played season-high 20 minutes against the Mountain Cats.

As A Sophomore (2007-08): Contributed both off the bench and as a starter down the stretch … played in 22 games and made nine starts … averaged 5.3 points and 3.9 rebounds … scored 10 points in season-opener in win over Ohio State-Newark (11/16/07) … seven points and five rebounds against Ohio Eastern (11/19/07) … eight points, including two three-pointers, with four rebounds in win over Wheeling Jesuit (11/24/07) … eight points and seven rebounds against Penn State-McKeesport (1/7/08) … career-best 16 points against WV Wesleyan (2/2/08) … scored 13 points and seven rebounds in 34 minutes against Davis & Elkins (2/4/08) … made first career start against Seton Hill (2/7/08) … eight rebounds and 10 points  against Ohio Valley (2/11/08) … just missed a double-double after scoring 11 points and nine rebounds against Pitt-Johnstown (2/16/08) … five points and eight rebounds in season against WV State (2/28/08) in WVIAC Tournament.

As A Freshman (2006-07): Saw action in eight games … averaged 3.1 points and 1.4 rebounds per game … scored five points in 17 minutes of action in season debut against Ohio State Newark (11/17/06) … six points, including 2-for-2 from three, against Wheeling Jesuit (1/9/07) … two points and three rebounds in win over Glenville State (1/22/07) … nine points against West Liberty (1/29/07).

High School: Versatile athlete for coach Pat Hollern at Bishop McCort … second all-time in school history in points (1,376) … two-time all-conference selection … team captain and third team all-state as a senior … averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds … led the Crushers to the district finals … as a junior, led the team to the district title … averaged 16 points … four-year letterwinner in track … district champion in the 300-meter hurdles … also a member of district championship 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams … two-time all-conference track athlete.

Personal: Son of Maureen and Donald O’Connor … sisters Beth and Katie each played volleyball collegiately … born July 3, 1987 … lists winning the distrcit title as a junior as his biggest athletic thrill … chose Fairmont State because of the fit … majoring in sciences.
