As A Freshman (2014): Played in nine games as a reserve for the Falcons … did not record any hitting statistics … had seven putouts.

Before Fairmont State: Played four seasons for coach John Postlewait at East Fairmont … batted .465 with seven home runs, 42 RBI and an .884 slugging percentage as a senior … helped lead EFHS to four Sectional Championships … earned Big 10 Co-Player of the Year as a senior … received first team All-Mon Valley and all-state honorable mention as a junior.

Personal: Kayla Jean Summers … daughter of Scott and Darla Summers … born on September 7 … majoring in Pre-Pharmacy … member of National Honors Society at East Fairmont.
