As A Junior (2008-09): First team All-WVIAC selection … averaged 17.8 points per game … hit 91 three-pointers on the year – the third most in school history … ranked 10th nationally in three-pointers per game (3.1) and three-point percentage (44.2) … made at least one three-pointer in all but two games … had 14 games of 20 points or more, including a span of six-straight from Feb. 7-21 … scored in double figures in all but three games … established herself as one of the most prolific three-point shooters and accurate free throw shooters in school history … started all 29 games and averaged 35 minutes per contest … made 80.3 percent of her free throws (114/142) … had back-to-back 20-point efforts against Gannon (11/16/08) and Wheeling Jesuit (11/22/08) … hit six threes on way to 25 points in win over Slippery Rock (11/25/08) … also grabbed six rebounds against the Rock … 24 points against Shippensburg (12/20/08) … nailed seven threes on way to 27 points in victory over Lake Erie (1/2/09) … followed up that performance with 22 points and five rebounds against Urbana (1/3/09) … 14-point, six-rebound performances against Pitt-Johnstown (1/10/09) and WV Wesleyan (1/17/09) … 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field against WV State (1/22/09) … 13 points, five rebounds, four steals and four assists in win over Concord (1/26/09) … scored 23 points at Wheeling Jesuit (1/31/09) … 16 points and five assists in just 15 minutes of action against Salem (2/2/09) …  22-point effort in win over Davis & Elkins (2/7/09) … netted 21 points and grabbed four rebounds in Bluefield State (2/9//09) victory … back-to-back 22-point games in wins over Ohio Valley (2/12/09) and Seton Hill (2/14/09) … 26-points, including 15-of-18 from the free throw line, in 64-60 win over West Liberty (2/19/09) … was a scorching 8-of-11 from behind the arc on her way to career-high 29 points in victory over Pitt-Johnstown (2/21/09) … also handed out five assists and grabbed four rebounds against the Mountain Cats … 19 points, including five three-pointers, against Shepherd (2/23/09) … 19 points and four steals against Pitt-Johnstown (3/4/09) at WVIAC Tournament in Charleston.

As A Sophomore (2007-08): Breakout year for FSU … started all 32 games for the Falcons … averaged 10.7 points per game … led the team in three-pointers with 60, which was the sixth-most in a single season at Fairmont State … made 40 percent of her three-point attempts … posted the third-highest single season percentage from the free throw line making nearly 83 percent (95-of-115) … ended the season making 26-straight from the foul line, a new school record … averaged 18 points in two games at Concord Classic (11/16-17/07) … hit five three-pointers on her way to 17 points against Slippery Rock (11/20/07) … nine points and six rebounds against West Liberty (12/6/07) … 22 points in 40 minutes of action against Mansfield … also added four assists against the Mountaineers … 20 points, including four three-pointers, against Alderson-Broaddus (1/12/08) … hit five threes on her way to 20 points at Glenville State (1/31/08) … also hit five three-pointers and scored 20 points against Davis & Elkins (2/4/08) … 21 points, including a perfect 14-of-14 from the foul line, against WV State (2/27/08) in the WVIAC Tournament … scored 10 points against Glenville State (2/29/08) and 12 points against WV Wesleyan (3/1/08) to help lead FSU to the WVIAC Tournament title … did not miss a free throw at the Charleston Civic Center … five points, three steals and three assists against Anderson (3/14/08) in the NCAA Tournament.

As A Freshman (2006-07): Played in 25 games for the Falcons … averaged 10 minutes per game … scored four points and added three rebounds in debut against Salem International (11/17/06) … netted nine points – all on three-pointers – and handed out three assists vs. Columbia Union (12/2/06) … scored eight points against Concord (1/11/07) … eight points, including two three-pointers, in win over Bluefield State (1/27/07) … played season-high 24 minutes against West Liberty (1/29/07) … had four rebounds against the Hilltoppers … five points and six rebounds against Wheeling Jesuit (2/10/07) … three points and three steals against Shepherd (2/12/07).

High School: Scored 2,036 points for coach Tube Davis at Bellaire High … second all-time leading scorer in Big Red history … first team all-state as a senior … averaged 28 points and seven rebounds … Eastern District and District 12 Player of the Year … Ms. Basketball finalist … three-time first team All-OVAC pick … led the Big Reds to the OVAC title as a senior … also earned four letters in volleyball.

Personal: Daughter of Sheri and John Vavrek … born April 7, 1988 … youngest of three girls, with older sisters Erica and Kacie … Kacie played basketball at Kent State, while Erica played volleyball and basketball at West Liberty … majoring in exercise science.
